Ambassador Daniel Carmon is the Ambassador of Israel to India from July 2014, and Non-Resident Ambassador to Sri Lanka. Ambassador Carmon joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1973. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Head of the Bureau for Coordination, and Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Director General’s Bureau. From 2005 to 2010, he served as Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative at Israel’s Mission to the United Nations in New York. In 2011, Ambassador Daniel Carmon was as appointed Deputy Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Head of MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation.
