Mr. Ankit Kawatra is the Founder & chairman of Feeding India, and is working towards ending hunger and malnutrition. Ankit is one of the 17 United Nations Young Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals from around the world, announced at the Social Good Summit, New York during the United Nations General Assembly in 2016. He has been recognized for his leadership and contribution to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes a set of 17 Goals to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice by 2030. He was the recipient of Queens Young Leader Award 2017. Mr. Ankit has been named by Forbes as a 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur 2017 and has won the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2016 in India, along with his start-up Feeding India being selected as the start-up of the Year. Mr. Kwatra was also awarded at the main annual event of the Kingdom of Bahrain where he received the “Give Back” by the Royal Prince of Bahrain in May 2017. He is the recipient of the prestigious Karamveer Chakra for his selfless service.
