In Afghanistan, death toll in a terror attack in eastern city of Jalalabad has risen to eleven. An official said, another 10 people were also injured in yesterday’s attack on an education department compound in the city.
At least two attackers were involved in the raid and both were killed. The official said, twenty staff members were rescued. There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
The attack comes a day after President Ashraf Ghani flew to Brussels to attend a NATO summit.
